This is the fourth book to come from the poet/ translator pairs for América invertida: An Anthology of Emerging Uruguayan Poets that the University of New Mexico Press will publish in 2016. The others are Roly Poly by Victoria Estol, translation by Seth Michelson (Toad Press), Anti-Ferule by Karen Wild, translation by Ron Salutsky (Toad Press), and Fable of an Inconsolable Man/ fábula de un hombre desconsolado by Javier Etchevarren, translated by me, forthcoming from Action Books. There are several other book length translations in the works! This was my dream when I started the project and so so lovely to see it coming true!
